Design Intern

The Design Intern will gain hands-on experience in the interior design and construction process while assisting our team with a variety of residential and commercial projects. This position offers the opportunity to be involved in everything from initial planning and design development to material selections, project coordination, and final installations.

Responsibilities + Duties

• Assist with conceptual design and project development

• Support space planning, floor plans, elevations, and construction documents

• Develop design boards, material presentations, and specification books

• Assist with furniture, lighting, fixture, and finish selections

• Research products, materials, and vendors

• Gather product information, pricing, and vendor quotes

• Assist in preparing client presentations and project documentation

• Participate in site visits, project meetings, and installations

• Assist with merchandise ordering, organization, and tracking

• Provide design and administrative support throughout various phases of projects

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design or a related field

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail with a friendly, professional attitude

• Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar programs

• Interest in residential and commercial design, construction, and project development

• Organized, motivated, and eager to learn

• Ability to adapt and contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

• Willingness to take initiative and assist with a variety of tasks
